Waah Boo Hoo Snort Snivel Waaahhhh

Here are some sentiments to the end of my glorious 4 days off from work. Photos courtesy of Bing!

It's been so very nice having a good holiday weekend and my husband's birthday celebrations. All good things must come to an end ... but WHY??? Waahhh!!
Only 3 days then the weekend, so I guess that'll put a smile back on my face! That and the
very chilly air cond in my "cubbyhole sweet cubbyhole" I work from tomorrow. Been very
hot hot HOT!!! So...as Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders says: "It is time for me to stop all of my sobbing. Yes it's time for me to stop all of my sobbing.....gotta stop sobbing, come on, yeah! yeah! stop stop stop! ... It is time for me to laugh instead of crying ... " well, you get the idea!
Love from your
SisSTAR........back to the ol' Grind tomorrow!
XOXOXO

Hey Honey, I hope your first day back is not too bad? That's the thing about time off, within minutes you free up and become the fully fledged you, free to live and make the most of every minute or not as you choose, then before you know it you have to pop yourself back into this small bubble that is work life where there is never enough room or time to breath and think properly and there is much frowning.

Well that's how it seems to me anyway! I don't think it matters whether you like your job or not work is work and the things you do out of it are who you really are.

I like the second photo at the top on the right best by the way, I can really sympathise with that little girl!

Happy Wednesday bud, only 2 days to go now. Once you have got out of bed the day can be ticked off as that's one of the hardest parts over! xxx

Hey it's so hot here but I won't turn my a/c on...keeping my blinds drawn at my windows and running a little fan is keeping it pretty cool in here.

SisStar, I hope you will drop by my blog and join me in my marathon campaign to make a contribution to stopping the "wars" and for love and peace in this world. I want to make a difference...so hope you'll drop by and make a comment...next I'm going to find me a bumper sticker for "love and peace" and to "stop the wars" for my car..I believe we all can make a difference and we will not give up..we must stand tall and speak out!

Thanks you with love and blessings for love peace and an end to the endless wars...that can be "ended" I know they can if we all just contribute and speak up.

Thanks, DF, and I need to pay more attention to your words, ie "work is work and the things you do out of it is who you are" ... as I've been identifying way too much with who I am at work and having difficulty separating ... and isolating myself at home from being on "overload" re: work. And I'm in a work position where it is pretty much "forbidden" to become friends with anyone there (patients) and they are so much a part of my life. BUT! I made it thru, even a power outage and no air cond, using a flashlight to try and finish up, phone out, etc. This wkend it's going to see Dr Who at our friend's and then to a graduation open house--hey! two free meals ;oD ha! I always appreciate your comments and love your blog and the fact you work with trees. Have yourself a nice weekend, too.

Hi Rhi ... I wanted to tell you also that if it weren't for seeing the hand giving the peace sign on your blog, I wouldn't have heard about Ringo's request for his birthday! Then I went to You Tube and saw his video and read much of the commentaries. Your post was great and I WILL be back there soon to comment, but wanted to thank you for being such a good friend and, as always, enjoy keeping track of what's going on in your life. I just saw an END WAR sticker on a car yesterday ... it was round and golden. I will look for a good one myself.
Have a good wkend and keep cool! We finally got a good break and it's cooler today after a good rain yesterday.
Love, SisSTAR xo

Hey Kyle! I know what you mean, work can be consuming especially if you like what you do but I try not to let it consume me, mostly without much success!

Enjoy Dr Who and your party! I am off to a 50th birthday party tonight which should be a blast!

Bye for now bud! xxx
