Well, DF, now you know this was not a recent photo! If it was we'd be "ass deep to a tall indian" in snow (yes, you know where that came from!) We have 2 acres and the photo is taken from "the garden" called that because it was my dad's 1 acre garden. When we look out that picture window we see lots of awesome overgrowth and trees (you can see the black walnut minus its leaves, which is lots bigger now). There's a fortress of wild roses with thorns that keep intruders out, and 50-60 feet trees along a creek that can't be seen. We've had to cut down some of the cedars near the house which is heartbreaking. I was tiny when they were planted. The windows are facing south so its great for plants and warmth. Right now it is frigid cold out and very little visible but snow.
I'm glad you are getting some for yourself. I did a little rain dance for a blog friend in Singapore, so hope he is "careful for what he wishes for" too ;oD
Taa haa (and thanks for your extra commentary below ... I was just having a little pity party, thinking my writing was just the cat's ass, ya know?)

That is a beautiful shot of your house on a beautiful deep blue sky. I bet the air is fresh too. Such haven.

Have a great weekend.

Hey! I look forward to seeing more pictures of your garden as it looks now in the Spring. It's on it's way you know! I can feel spring fever coming on already despite the snow!

By the way, the snow is still falling. We went up to the hill fort today and there were families still sledging. I quite fancy a go myself! The dogs are still loving it too!
