Hard to believe in 1 mo the old fiasco of election day will take place once again. We keep hearing those old Master Debaters and the celebrity of it all--so I am simply posting the best pic I have of my sentiments at this point. I usually seem to be voting "against" someone rather than "for" but that's OK, I'll be sure to be out there on 11/4/08 as my SisSTARS of the past fought so hard to win the right for me to do so and I wouldn't want to let them down. It's so disheartening to know that so many folks I love so dearly are on the opposite side of the fence from me, but that's their right and I love them anyway. Makes it difficult to comprehend one another at times, however, and I'm just sad I only have one vote to cancel out only one of theirs ;o(This photo is so toadily how I feel about it! ;oD

All this too shall "pass" and we will slowly find ourselves evolving into a new world of "change" for the better..hang on it will be over soon..all those "analyst" and talking heads "C*ap". The people I am staying with are similar in the way they feel about who will be the best president and so that is nice. It's sad though because all of the people they have known here for more than 20-30 years, their friends, neighbors and all their church friends all feel completely different than them politically..so I guess they like me being here as they can talk with me about it and not have to hold it all in so that their friends will be comfortable and or not to start a "scene". Their friends come over and go on and on about it all and I find it so sad that they feel it's best to "stifle" themselves and let their friends manipulate with their "we are always right and everyone else is wrong" opinions..
I can't wait until after election day! We're going to be making history here in more ways than one! At least that is my opinion...:o)
