Quotations

From A Guide for the Advanced Soul (and I'm not saying that would be me!?) ...
"By going along with feelings, you unify your emotional, mental, and bodily states.
When you try to fight or deny them, you divorce yourself from the reality of your being."
-Jane Roberts,
Nature of Personal Reality
and
"That which oppresses me, is it my soul trying to come out in the open, or the soul of the world knocking at my heart for its entrance?"
-Rabindranath Tagore
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This has been quite a week and a half or so ... or just the whole year has been quite something. The heatwave has been totally unwelcomed by me, except it tends to bring out lots of butterflies and flowers, long as the rains keep things watered because lord knows we choose not to spend the resources or the money to water the outdoors, except for keeping the birdbaths filled and a few treasured potted plants outside. The ones inside are flourishing, helps me know that my mind is fairly balanced and even, so long as I can keep my plants alive and even blooming. A big hawk mostly grey with a white head stayed in the birdbath today while I watched it with my binocs. It had orange eyes and was fierce looking. I hoped that its back tail feather would somehow snap off and land on the ground for me to gather ... grey with dark nearly black stripes down it. See several beautiful deer, fruit on the ground in dad's old orchard ... bound to be around. Lots of critters everywhere. What drives me nuts right now are what I call the "hot bugs" -- the cicadas buzzing away to let you know, hey, bitch! it's gonna be hot out there! I don't like to be hot ... it makes me ornery! Call me the Ice Queen! Winter baby! ..........well, obviously I'm just on some rant that won't end so all I really wanted to do was post a few quotes and a few nice photos ... and to me, the wolf is a gentle soul peering around the birch shyly ... not viciously looking at "Little Red" walking out into her woodsy adventure! (Photo of "Adventure" OSHO Zen Tarot), (Photo of wolf...don't remember).
Goodnight from your SisSTAR
PEACE! Peace within, peace without, peace over, under, sideways, down, peace around, peace, a sigh of loving contentment, peace and serenity....................^;^prrrrrrrrrxoxo

As you know I love wolves and what a beautiful pic of the child with those background colors. I love to watch hawks fly high above..how cool to have one right in your yard bathing..wow!

I've been told for years that I am in touch with my emotions and that's a good thing....so I'm emotionally intelligent they tell me...whatever that means..I do feel often it gets me into trouble! Right now however I feel I am "holding in" a lot of "stuff" from the last year and 3 months I spent living with "mr big" on top of me...ooops that sounds a little weird..sorry about that..:o)

There's too much going on in my life. Half good half bad...go with the flow "Rhi"...okaydokey. But I do think right now that I have more friends "real kind" that I have not had for my entire life...it's awesome but also a bit overwhelming..I want to get back into watching that moon rising up from behind Roxy ann mountain here I watch every night..and calm down and I want to "create" more..soon I am sure I can feel it coming.

We have been having an incredible heat wave (in low 100's or high 90's) just about every single day for the last 3 weeks or so and more is to come they say. We don't get real hot summers here every year..it is sporadic but this one is one of the worse I can remember. We have had no clouds, no rain, thunder and lightening in the mountains, causing fires up there they say..but here in the valley it has been just so humid and so hot through the night and my body is not handling it well. We need a "Reprieve" or we have just got to get through this. I know being on the 3rd floor it's hotter up here for sure but I was aware this would be. I try not to use the old fashioned a/c much at all as too expensive power bill I can't afford it I do. I use a fan. My sister has a newer updated apartment with central a/c and she uses it all the time..though I have tried to warn her about when she gets the power bill. I find she is so different than me it's just uncanny. However things are improving with us but we both hate the heat and it's making me feel so "blah" but alas I know soon it will all be over...for you two up there also..autumn leaves will be falling...yeah..I can't wait.

Hang in there and yeah love and "peace within, without and all around you" too.

Love ya,

Rhi

I love sunny days and what makes it perfect is when there is breeze and occasional rain to keep the greens alive.

I love looking out at nature and especially spot uncommon critters and birds to observe and admire.

Have a great summer, Winter Wonderwoman!

Even though it was warm you did a great job on mowing the lawn on Sunday for the first time this year. Thank you for that.
I think the mower had missed you not to mention the garden and yard.
I was glad we could be outside a little more.
