Remembering my brother again

Dana Meredith Haswell, Jr.
Sept 17, 1953 - Aug 10, 2006
I will always miss you,
Little Brother
8-10-06 was a Thurs night around this time
and the moon was full like it is
right now...
I'll see you in my dreams.
Love from,
your sister, Kyle Lynn

Hi Kylita. Keep the memories.
Thanks for visiting my blog again. And for your lengthy comment. Love your joy in wildflowers, butterflies, weeds and buzzy, crawlie hoppers. I too go back often to my childhood on the farm.
Nature blesses.

I'm so so sorry of your loss SiStar Kylita. I know about the "anniversay stuff". And I know these anniveraries and memories hurt and yet aslo joyful memories.

Makes me think of my younger sister now. I hope I do hear back from her to see how her condition is going now..if I don't I keep thinking that will be bad news..the worse kind.

Keep leaving comments on the blogs of the people you would like to come to comment on your blog too..and you will find a few more "Comrade"'ll see..but only a don't want to overwhelm yourself!

Love you and thanks for the call and listening. Will leave a comment when I can..not sure why it's easier to get on others blogs and leave a comment than it is to get on my own!..Geesh!..

having a nice rest feeling more peaceful. I am telling myself that I am "on vacation" especially since I haven't been on one in over 11 years really! I deserve it lets see if it works or happen.

Hey Honey, we met in blogging terms following a previous commemorative post to your brother that touched me so much. I am thinking of you and sending big cyber hugs via this comment. I also have a few words which I thought you may find comfort in. I hope so as this message is left for you with the truest intent.

Come my love and comfort me,
for my heart is weighted
deprived of you I exist,
with soul un-satiated

Within each day a wonder of this world's revealed in splendour
yet wonderment is lessened
with no means to share the venture

Though I believe in independent being, you have given
the joy of companionship, altruistically driven

And mine is now to walk alone, until when reunited
we share again each moment blessed,
and recall all we've sighted

So this my plea, come comfort me, for the wait is laboured
and if I reach your image in sleep,
each aspect will be savoured.

This is a beautiful honor you doing for your late brother.

I'm sorry for your loss, dear Friend. I think he knows you're thinking of him and I think he is smiling because he had a sister that is you.

Hope you get to meet him in your dreams.

Hey Bud, thanks for your lovely comment and it makes me so happy that you found something good from the words.

We are off camping in Wales for a couple of weeks. I cannot send you a postcard but I will take a photo for you and post it when we get back!

Biggest hugs, DF xx

I never get tired of looking at this picture of your brother. His eyes. All of it. Hard to believe we survived our baby brothers, but here we are. Big. And Strong. And living for them. Because of them. Sometimes in spite of them. Keep writing.
