I've missed my blog ... got "urged" to join "Facebook" but I prefer this blog...not as chaotic and it's what I make of it. Have a great spring weekend. Daffodils, grape hyacinths, dandelions and vinca blue flowers blooming, even a tiny Chinese forget-me-not ... and inside the home: my brother's Hoya plant has 2 lovely clusters wide open, my Grandma Haswell's ancient Christmas cactus is blooming again!! this time for Easter with 5 more gorgeous blooms ... a white shamrock and a purple shamrock blooming and my Angel Wing Begonia is nearly as tall as me!! I'm rooting a cutting of it for the daughter of the lady who gave it to me just before she died ... back in 1994! Tuffy Boy has a great garden full of catnip that he's cultivating and pruning regularly! ^;^ and lots of wild violas are springing up everywhere. Soon we shall hear the frogs in the pond, I betcha!

WELCOME BACK!!!
Hope you had a good rest from your hiatus.
I am still at work, not not much to do nowadays... spending more time staring at the 4 walls of my cubicle than anything else. I'm just waiting for the retrenchment which is dragging longer than expected.
Knowing nothing new is coming to out site, but many more to our neighboring and overseas sites, the wait is mentally crazy. I want my severance pay for the past 17 years, so I persevere daily for the pink slip.
In the meantime, I make myself happy with family and my hobby with my new toy, the last one for now until the world gets better. Yes, the world... that will be a hack of a long time, 3 to 5 years, but it will get better.
The photos of flowers blooming always make me happy inside, thus my new toy for taking macro pictures of beautiful blooms here too in progress to post.
I have a Facebook account too, and so do some of the bloggers I know. It is fun and not as fast-paced as Twitter. Yet, like you, blogging is still the best outlet for me. It is also my journal for my forgetful self.
Hope we'll be long term blogging buddies, together with some of our friends to be hardcore bloggers for as long as we can type on a keyboard.
